These boots are really cute and very comfortable and appear good quality. I did sadly have to return them because they looked so large on my feet I felt like I was wearing work boots.

I wear and ordered a size 11. They run just a bit large, so I put in some thin inner soles and that solved the issue. If you are somewhere between a regular and wide width, these are right there. Very comfortable.

The boot itself is really nice…soft suede, good sole and very light weight. However, beware of the sizing. Sofft is now one of the companies who have redefined sizes. Where US size 6 used to equal EU size 36 (logical, right?) they’ve decided that a 6 is now a 37 and is therefore a size too large if you need a 6. Go figure. Maddening… No more Sofft for me…

I really love these. From the reviews, I expected them to be bulky and they do feel a bit workboot-ish, but they are so soft and comfortable inside (unlike my Born which were tight and narrow). I feel like the width is great. They do run a bit large but my size wasn’t available so I’m keeping them anyway.

Fit: I ordered these in a size 9, which is my usual size. There’s a lot of extra room in the toe cap, but the toe box is too narrow for me, and I don’t have wide feet. So I would say they run long, but narrow.
Style: as noted by several reviewers, these are big chunky boots. That is the style. I think they look great, but look elsewhere if you want something dainty.
Quality: GREAT! Sturdy, cushy, seems very well made.
Arch support: Seems good. Has a metatarsal “bump” in the footbed, which works for me.
Comfort: Leather is stiff, but footbed is well padded. I think they’d be very comfortable if they weren’t too tight across the toe box.
Verdict: Great boots if they fit you. I like them so much I’m thinking of keeping them and having the toe box stretched. Still not sure whether to return.

Love the look and feel of these booties, size felt about a 1/2 size too big.

Based on the reviews, I ordered both size 9 and 9.5, expecting to want the smaller size. Typically I wear 9.5 Medium to narrow. In these, the 9.5 feels just right. They are a little narrower than some mediums, which helps my scrawny feet fit well with light weight sox. I find them quite attractive, comfortable, with moderate to exc. arch support (think Naot or Born booties). The zipper operates smoothly. The platform is nice and the leather is soft and seems like good quality. I’m quite happy with these — now to determine whether they’re water resistant or water proof (different descriptions say different things . . . ??)

I have the black and LOVE them in my usual size, 9.5. I just received the gray — the color is more a gray with a hint of blue in it than the taupe tinted gray on my monitor. They’re gorgeous too and fit beautifully. My feet are slightly narrower than medium and they fit just right with light weight sox. Don’t think they’ll work for wide/wider feet. The length seems true to size. They don’t seem clunky or work boot-y to me — if anything they look slim and flattering, tho the platform and the light trim around the sole do give them the appearance of some bulk.

Adorable boots. The suede is very soft (they material almost drapes). They look terrific with jeans or leggings. They clean up well and they are more durable than I expected. Sizing was accurate. They are on the chunky side, which I love. As long as I take good care of them, they should last a few seasons.

Runs small, really narrow

Fabulous, gorgeous boots. I was torn between the 9.5 and 10 because I read that the boots ran large. But I ended up choosing my regualr boot size of 10 since I like to put cushy insoles in them. They are boots I’ll take on vacation to Italy this fall since they’re comfortable and waterproof. I like a little extra room for swelling when walking many, many miles per day.

These boot are gorgeous the material felt sooo silky the sole was amazing. Unfortunately I got wide feet (10.5 cm) the were extremely tight

I love these boots. My ONLY concern is the inside fit of the heel…could be choosing the eight sock to wear…

Love these boots. Worn them the whole day and they felt like I had them forever. So comfortable.

No need to break these in, they’re perfectly soft and broken in right out of the box. They look great with a long denim skirt or with cuffed baggy jeans. I’m a traveling grandma on the run and they’re stylish and comfy. The fact that they’re made for wet weather is why I purchased. Going on a trip and we’re expecting rainy weather every day.

These are a beautiful pair of ankle boots. I needed something that worked like a sneaker but was less casual. These are comfortable, weather proof and stylish. The gray is a beautiful shade. I usually wear a 9 in boots but based on the reviews went down to my normal size of 8.5. They fit great with a thin sock. Definitely recommend.

A bit roomy but perhaps winter, thicker socks are expected to be worn. So soft and comfortable immediately out of the box. Felt secure with the lug sole but the boot was surprisingly lightweight. Great value for the price. Expect to wear frequently. Works with maxi, midi, capri …. multitude of hemlines. Bought 8.5 suede.

Fit was perfect, bought my regular size. Very comfy right out of the box. Love them!

I have tried at least 10 short, black, leather boots this year, looking for something comfortable but still cute. These feel like the Holy Grail. Very happy!

I love Sofft boots. I own four pairs of the Aquasofft style. These, boots are sporty looking, substantial, secure, and waterproof, a plus in the soggy Pacific northwest.

Love these shoes — add a little lift so I can wear with my more tailored work pants and I don’t have to wear heels. I can also wear them with a skirt/dress in my relaxed-professional workplace. Solves my commuting-shoes-that-also-work-in-the-office conundrum. They may feel tight if you have wide feet but they are fine for my normal-to-narrow feet.

Great comfortable shoe. Works with office pants and skits as well as jeans. Works as both a commuting shoe and in-office shoe!

These are beautiful, well made boots. I love wearing them with nice joggers for fall/winter. Very comfortable. Wearing with my gentle arch supports, which takes pressure of my toes, a couple of which easily go numb. Lug sole provides a little height and should give good traction. Love them!

These are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. I wore them for miles! And I have extremely picky Goldilocks type feet– these didn’t rub anywhere, the insole is cushioning and supportive, and the chunky sole is stiff enough for my arthritic big toes but bendable enough to walk normally. I kind of wish the black didn’t have a contrasting sole so it could pass for dressier, but it is what it is. Now I am craving the lighter tan for everyday more casual wear. I am a true 9M and these were perfect. I wondered if they might be too narrow, but on wearing they were just great.
